Soil Sampling Tubes – Split Barrel Type

The split barrel type sampling tubes are made of high-quality steel and feature an half open tip and sampling part. Excellent for rapid sampling in consistent soils, since its makes visual inspection of the samples easy and straightforward.

The split barrel type sampling tubes can be pushed into the ground by means of a CPT penetrometer pushing rig, a DPT or SPT sounding rig or by means of hydraulic, gasoline or electric breaker hammer.

  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 22 mm, L = 1000 mm, M16 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 22 mm, L = 2000 mm, M16 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 32 mm, L = 1000 mm, M20 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 32 mm, L = 2000 mm, M20 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 36 mm, L = 1000 mm, M20 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 36 mm, L = 1000 mm, M22 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 36 mm, L = 2000 mm, M20 screw-thread
  • Split barrel type soil sampling tube – D = 36 mm, L = 2000 mm, M22 screw-thread

In order to use the split barrel type samplers of 1000 mm length and M22 screw-thread connection in combination with a CPT penetrometer pushing rig, Gouda-Geo supplies the following so-called cross-over tubes to connect the samplers to the male screw-thread of the lowest << CPT sounding tube >> of the CPT string:

  • Cross-over tube – Top thread: female STD / Bottom thread: female M22
  • Cross-over tube – Top thread: female QLK / Bottom thread: female M22
  • Cross-over tube – Top thread: female AR / Bottom thread: female M22
  • Cross-over tube – Top thread: female 2R / Bottom thread: female M22
